Theological Reflection

I've been reading everything posted on this site, feeling that although the strategic plan has been pretty well thought out, and there has been a lot of tremendously good reflection, ideas and comments with regard to the strategic plan, I am concerned that something seems to be "missing".

While I understand that everyone has their own opinion of the way forward, and I respect their right to have a differing opinion to my own, but I was angry, ....and saddened, by some of the views expressed. I really thought that TSA was ahead of the game in so many ways, but now am left wondering....??? I mean, surely we as South Africans, who have experienced some of the most remarkable transformartion in the whole world, would learn from the attitudes and… Continue

Whose Neighbour Am I?

Once I happened to pick by chance a copy of June 21, 2008 issue of the USA national publication of the War Cry. Inclusion in the magazine’s column of 'Quotes of the past and present' was Commissioner Lalkiamlova, International Secretary for South Asia’s verbatim - “The question is not who’s my neighbour, but whose neighbour am I”. Together let’s try to answer this question.

How easy it is to count ourselves as acquaintances of people whom we admire, the rich and famous elite, and how… Continue
