Guys I need help!!! no not that type of help.I have a copy of the local Cape Town newspaper (Tygerberger dated 11 August 2010).In it is a report on our outreach at Goodwood Corps. There are fotos and a long writeup of people getting food parcels etc...What concerns me is that I wrote, a while ago, about the fact that we are seen to be anything other than a CHURCH and I said that we must be a church as we intend being around for a looong time still whilst a Company or institution OR organisation…See More

Theological Reflection

I've been reading everything posted on this site, feeling that although the strategic plan has been pretty well thought out, and there has been a lot of tremendously good reflection, ideas and comments with regard to the strategic plan, I am concerned that something seems to be "missing".

How do we really see community engagement?

A number of us as Salvationists feel quite uncomfortable with the idea of community engagement, of starting real conversations with the people who live in our neighbourhoods.
